Hi I’m Mad! I have a BFA in sculpture and illustration from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, and currently reside in Ann Arbor Michigan. I enjoy working in wood, ceramics, & gouache, trying to step away from mass production, and towards unique, bizarre or humorous collectables.

I’ve been teaching kids art for around a decade, and child development is at the base of what I do. My illustrative work is geared mainly towards children’s literature, where I aim to demonstrate compassion for each other and the natural world. In terms of sculpture, I love to create children’s toys, sculpting animals and explore themes of attachment and family.
